Satya Bhanu Chaparala, MD, FCCP 

Dr. Chaparala is the medical director of the sleep lab at Battle Creek Health Center.   Since 1990, he’s been in private practice at the Lung Center servicing patients with sleep disorders and well as pulmonary dysfunctions.   

Dr Chaparala attended medical school at Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India.  His post graduate training was residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL and a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cook County.   

He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine.  He is also a member of several professional societies such as:

• Calhoun County Medical Society

• Michigan State Medical Society

• American Medical Association

• American College of Chest Physicians

• American Society of Critical Care Medicine

• Diplomat-American Academy of Sleep Medicine
