Alcides Gil-Acosta, M.D.
Dr.
Gil-Acosta joined the Lung Center in 2003 and
has since been providing service to patients
with sleep disorders and pulmonary
dysfunctions. Dr. Gil-Acosta graduated in 1995
from the University of Puerto Rico School of
Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico with his
medical degree. He has served a number of
fellowships and post graduate training, most
recently Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in
Atlanta, GA.
Dr.
Gil-Acosta is board certified in Pulmonary
Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and the
American Board of Internal Medicine. In
addition, he holds licensures in Michigan and
Georgia.
Academically, Dr. Gil-Acosta has been involved
in several research projects and clinical trials
for these projects. He has received several
awards and honors for his training. He holds
memberships in the following societies and
